Our client is an Italian multinational corporation headquartered in Milan that manufactures electric power transmission and telecommunications cables and systems. It is the largest manufacturer of cables in the world measured by revenues.
As a production engineer (This position is the strong reference in the point in production team of production supervisor or future manager in 3-5 years readiness by assigning more management skills training and OM training), you will be responsible:
Assist the production manager to plan, prioritize, schedule, and manage production activities;
Provide inputs for production procedures; monitor the production data (material efficiency, labour efficiency, OEE, cost etc.), calculate, analyse and review production KPIs to achieve activities’ effectiveness and respect of safety standards;
Prepare work orders and monitor the progress of work against estimates;
Directly responsible for follow and check the production schedule, ensure the product delivery. Be strict in material consumption control based on production plan;
Following and pushing the new products trails are carrying on production;
Care to the quality control on production and solve the quality problem on line;
Communicate with related departments such as production, maintenance, process engineering;
Keep production under safety and civilization. Professional skill for production management.
You are expected to have 3 to 7 years’ experience in related industry (Heavy industry manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, cement, plastics, and metal); Bachelor degree or above preferable with industrial or managerial major; At least 3-5years equivalent experience in related manufacturing section; Fluent English; Knowledge on quality system ISO9001; Knowledge on MS software; Good communication; and good experience on 5S/Kanban management of shopfloor.
